Pakefield

Pakefield sits at the top some of Suffolk's most dramatic coastline on top of the cliffs. A thriving village, close enough to Lowestoft for access to many Suffolk attractions, and yet self-contained enough for a great weekend hideaway.

Within Pakefield you can visit St. Margaret's & All Saints Church, or head into the village for plenty of small shops and even grab a cake and tea at Tea By The Sea, located only a short walk up the hill. If you wanted a fancy pub lunch then head to The Jolly Sailors, again only a short walk up the hill. Pakefield makes a great location for those wishing to see wildlife such as taking the kids to Africa Alive (short drive into Kessingland) or if a theatre production is more up your street then either the Seagull Theatre or Marina Theatre boast an array of shows and productions. If sport is your thing then there are two local football teams Kirkley & Pakefield FC and Lowestoft Town FC as well as local Tennis Courts at Kensington Gardens

History, ambience, fantastic views and a great location make Pakefield a charming backdrop for a quick and quiet getaway or a launching pad for a week-long family holiday so why not add to your stay and spend some quality time relaxing at Pakefield Beach Hut.
